Beth Walton, the owner of Lock House Antiques, expressed her distress, stating that the burglary has had a profound effect on their operations. "The clean-up process has set us back a few days in terms of trading because we were unable to open our doors to customers," she explained.
Lock House Antiques has been a part of the community for nearly three years and even has another location in Badby, Northamptonshire. Following the break-in, Walton and her team faced the uncomfortable situation of staying overnight at the shop amidst sub-zero temperatures, as they could not secure the damaged entrance until daylight.

Walton remarked on the calculated nature of the crime, noting, "They clearly knew what they were doing. It was evident that they had scoped out the place beforehand, as they were able to get in and out in just a few minutes."
